FAQs

  • What kind of warranties do you offer?

As a licensed Rhino Linings applicator we are able to offer a warranty that covers:

    • Automotive applications only
    • Rhino ‘TUFF STUFF’ only
    • Cracking, peeling, and warping
    • And it’s for as long as you own the vehicle

The warranty is only available to the original Rhino Linings purchaser and is not transferrable. If you have a warranty claim, it is as simple as bringing your vehicle in, along with your warranty certificate, for inspection.

  • What can Rhino ‘TUFF STUFF’ be sprayed on to?

A sprayed-on lining creates a monolithic, seamless coating. It conforms to any shape and size and will bond to virtually all substrates of any dimension – including all metals, concrete, wood and fibreglass. It’s elastomeric properties allow for application to surfaces that are subject to vibration, expansion, contraction, movement, flexing, abrasion and impact – all whilst maintaining its integrity, regardless of film thickness.

  • How does Rhino ‘TUFF STUFF’ save me money in the long run?

This product has a proven track record of saving businesses hundreds of thousands of dollars in equipment repair, maintenance and replacement.

  • What surface prep is required for linings or coatings?

Generally, a surface must be prepared to give it a sufficient profile and then a primer is applied. This ensures that the coating has maximum adhesion.

  • Can additional material be added to Rhino Linings flooring coatings to increase slip-resistance?

Yes. Dispersing aggregate into the formulation can increase the non-slip properties.

  • Can I get a DIY lining kit?

No. Our products can only be sprayed by a licensed Rhino Linings applicator to ensure quality results every time.

  • How long do I need to wait after application before I can begin using my equipment or vehicle again?

Our formulations are tack free within 40 seconds and are completely set after 24 hours. All formulations need to be kept completely dry and unused for the first 24 hours to ensure an uncompromised finish.

  • What are 100% solids polyurethane and polyurea coatings?

This means that no solvents (VOCs) are used to dissolve, carry or reduce the coating. Additionally, the resin converts to a solid after mixing with isocyanate.
